I also have an Indigo & have never had any real problems, with the exception of use with a particular pcmcia chipset, which is fixed using the ENE util software they have in their download->other section....

we've been using the Firewire410 from m-audio for production and live performance... the card always in phantom power mode ( powered by firewire ) and not by its independant power supply behaved always stable as hell, great quality and performance.
very recomendable.
