Can some recommend a good computer setup, w/rca sound card and midi input for recording of demos and in the future to put "reason" on it to make tracks. Looking to spend about a grand.

emu has a good collection of low end soundcards that actually work very well.

they are pci cards and have pigtails off the back of the card with a midi in/out, 1/4" in/out, and i think RCA in/out.

my bro only paid like $70 US for it brand new. he uses it for Reason 3.0 and recording dj mixes.

We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.
