Roman Polanski's Carnage

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1692486/

Brilliant film and some of the best and funniest performances I've seen in a long time especially by Christoph Waltz & Jodie Foster.

What did you think? I'm curious.
Big Michael fan.

An excellent movie, Brilliant acting by Michael Fassbender and the Plot was brilliantly executed.            “What we need is the development of the Inner Spiritual man, the unique individual, whose treasure is hidden in the symbols of our mythological tradition and in man’s unconscious psych.” - CJ Jung

Another Michael Fassbender movie. The guy is on fire!

David Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1571222/

Movie about the relationship between physiologists Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen) and Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender). Keira Knightley plays a patient who brings the two together in the formative years of psychoanalysis. A thought provoking movie while being entertaining in the historical-social context . Done in Cronenberg's style with big jumps in the timeline but not as abstracted as his other movies.

Synecdoche, New York

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383028/

A movie with a fractal storyline on what goes behind the creative process from the perspective of a theater director...brilliantly acted out by Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Just saw it.

Equally weird as it is well made. Need to backtrack and check out more of his older films.

Life of Pi.

Visually stunning film, Ang Lee has really gone all out on this one. Best use of the 3D technology I've seen to date.

Life OF Pie

Makes VFX in Avatar look like a speed test!
Ang Lee's vision really pushed CG to the limit!

Lincoln and Argo

Both films are amazing in their own right. Love the cinematography and direction in Lincoln.
