hey fellows,
need some hints(very basic) about my reason.
managed alreday to find some nice sounds through the matrix(sequencer) there and modify them by playing with the synth(subtractor is called there)
now: i don't know how you use the grafs of the software.i want to put a sound that i found with the matrix and decided as my baseline on the graf, and than to use the matrix for creating another sound to put on etc. how do i do that?
2. the redrum drum machine offers me a simple way to produce kick, but i'm feeling nothing there is exactly what i had in mind - do i have another way of producing kick?
3. do i have the option of finding a sound and after that put it in the treck while twisting and converting it, or putting it on some keyboard than "play" it with the keyboard in different notes?

matrix is a midi-serquencer(this "matrix" is actually a piano roll sequencer in other colors)u have patterns in it, so use it as sequencer, bass usually goes in patterns, so use matrix for it.
i'm not sure, but i think it should be "copy-paste"-able into the regular reason sequencer, in the worst case u simply copy note by note, and control after control.

hmm i won't give u complete workshop steps for creating a kick ... just hints: u can use other samples, create your own drum kits, and u can use other synths in reason for kick..

u have the sampler for this: NN19...
get "Recycle" program, and u can create rex files for NN19.
besides there's "refill packer" soft that comes with reason.
refills are sound archives for NN19.

you can copy - paste in the step seq. only when you are not playback so stop music and then do it. |
