you can use the matrix on subtractor and maltrom, create your own arppegio, and babooom there it is, reduce the steps on the matrix from 16 to 4 or 8, or you can also speed it up and put the 16 steps in a 4 bar for example, that will emulate any arppegio |

Unfortunately a true Arp in Reason does NOT exist. Its probably the most requested feature in Reason. A lot of people were disappointed that 3.0 wont have it. |

Simple. I dont need an ARP cause I use Cubase SX2. But many people cant afford Cubase/Logic, etc or ReWiring Reason destroys their PC. An Arp should be very easy for the Props to code using some of their Matrix code. I don't see why they havent implemented it. The demand for it is extraordinary. |

if you're using external midi keyboard, you can use a midi processing application and route it to virtual midi port. this works like a midi plug-in. for example

not sure if it worth the trouble.

Actually there is an arpegiator. You can use the Matrix if you like.. but works best for me is actually using Redrum.. This is a tricky one so pay attention..
create a subtractor, next create a redrum , turn to the backside if the rack by hitting the tab button. run a cable from the Gate out on channel 1 of the Redrum to the Amp env ( gate Input ) , Now run a cable from the gate output of Channel 2 on the redrum to the filter env ( gate input ).
flip the rack back ove to the front and then select channel on on the redrum. program a pattern that you like them select channel 2 and program the same pattern.
now make sure that you have your midi input selected on the subtractor. push play and hold down your keys...
presto.. you have and arp.. Hope this helps.. have fun..
now you can more complicated and use other channels to change the pitch and osc freq.. But explore and have fun..
