ok, let me get this right...
i can load a SAMPLER "config" or what ever it's named which sets all the knobs and levels and frequensies and amplitudes and stuff, right?
Now, then i load the ACTUALL sample files. asi understood i can load as many samples as i want and place them in specific note areas , A.K.A ZONES.
let's say sample #1 is placed between c3-c5 and sample #2 is placed between c6-c8
now every note i play between c3-c5 will play sample number1 and in it's specifc chord and when i play notes between c6-c8 it will play the second sample.
did i get it? :)
i havn't read about the sampler, nor anything else in this amazing piece of software, but i think i am right.
any tips, ideas or etc regarding this sampler? as i see it's a really powerfull tool.

Right you can do that, you can make splits and it's damn easy to do.
To understand i strongly recommend to download the reason manual in the proppelerhead website and read the sampler section. This manual is one of the best i ever seen, not boring, very explicit. |

Another question before i hot the manual, can i use live recording on the sampler?
like i play the piano keys and it records the samples?
or do i have to use an extrenal midi keyboard? |

No the NN19 is not a recorder (this is the difference with real samplers) but you can use another programm (Sound forge not to name it) and you don't need to use samples directly in the sequencer since you have the sampler that does that for you. |
