Ok, finally, i got a hold of this proggy, called Reason. I've managed to make all the instruments there work even without a midi control keyboard (as of yet. im gonna buy one soon).

but i still have a problem: how do i use the tracker to record?

Hey Jason,

What exactly do you mean? When you say tracker, do you mean the built-in sequencer? And what do you want to record (pattern changes, knob tweaks)?

jason - my best advise is not to build tracks with it.
do your sequencing (writing) on cubase. use reason as the sound generator using Cubase Rewire option .
its much easier then making trax on Proppelerheads stupid sequencers.

Watch out, though. Cubase & Reason together is almost a guaranteed formula for crashing (for me, at least :(). You'll need a strong enough computer to operate them both in the same time.
