And I'm sure you already knew there would be no VSTi support or direct audio importing. I didn't ask what the reason to exclude these features was but I'm sure it's the same as it always has been - having a DAW as stable and solid as a 12-year old's first boner.

ehehe...
I never quite understood why an audio sequencing soft would import.. well .. plain audio.. thats reason.. for no reason. or there is a reason..

First 3 years of my intense production I was using only reason. When Cubase SX 3 arrived it was audio editing that persuade me to switch sequencers. But reason helped me to really understand audio signal processing from "inside". Without that I would have much harder time handling various VST plugs.
Now I'm considering another DAW with Reason running parallel with DAW on Cubase SX. Does anyone have some experience with such setup? Is it possible to have accurate MIDI timing in this case?
