Just find a tutorital for Reason 3 - it's pretty much the same, just with a new synth and extras...

its not the same...the sequencer works different and thats a good step i hated the old one., also the new devices are cool, i love thor!!!!!!!! |

How is that possible?
How can you stand the new sequencer?
1. The automation on the main sequencer page causes clutter
2. Now you have to double click to select a section in order to change piano roll notes or automation
3. You can't make a track and attach it to an fx unit to pencil in automation
4. They straight up took away the line tool(WTF!!)
All of the major changes they've made are BAD. I keep reading about the new sequencer being good but it's clearly not, am I the only one who sees this? |

Screw Reason then.
Why learn reason if you can already use cubase and fruity loops?
I would spend my time learning to use Reaktor instead. More difficult, but faaar more rewarding. |

any help, how can you export the pattern from the step sequencer of thor out to midi notes on the main sequencer. i know there is a "convert pattern to notes" or something similar, but its always greyed out. plz how can i do this___????
i only use reason for tthe thor synth, and i really like the retro style step sequencer from it,,....

I'm not seeing a 'convert pattern to notes' button or anything similar and the help file doesn't mention the ability to export to the sequencer.. where is this greyed out option? |
