Reason 3.0 is under construction
im so happy

no vst but still sounds like they added some very good stuff

Just a Combinator to make complex setups out of
the same sub and Malstrom.
No Audio tracks.

Wow !
I am so happy too (jumped with the chair 3 times up, happy)!
When will it be out ?
At fuckin last 4 band parametric eq (worth a jump); some advanced mastering features (worth again) and of course NO MORE 2 OSC SYNTHs !!! 
I mean where were they all the time ? I am feeling idiotic looking at Cubase, Logic and friends, not having all this for the last 3 years.

well sound crystal.. they have a mastering "package" inside the software, which is more important by far than the stuff u talked about.. and if u want an audio track, just import wav in nn-19..!?
and ye no new synths, BUT full hardware support so u can buy a good synth and use it..
instead of downloading cubase and downloading lods of vst
..
well maybe u download reason, but than u HAVE to buy a synth, get my point? hehe |

Wait...can you please explain to me how I can buy a good synth and use it with Reason? All I read was support for midi controllers.

Not so good bew features i still prefer laod tons of vsti's on cubase and create more complex stuff, reason is really good but just as a complement tool i really dont see a how reason sytnths can beat vsti's like z3ta,vanguard or albino i guess we'll wait for reason 3.5. |

No way dude i will stick to cubase sx2 and TONS of plugins all the way!!!! reason?? only as rewire... and besides if u have a really good synth how the hell are u gonna record it in reason??????? reason sequencer sucks!! |

i think ill install Reason 2.5 only because of the nice sounds it allows to create due to its modular structure ... but thts it ... other wise i can do all i want in nuendo 2 |

who wants to do mastering inside reason????
personally i think this is just a marketing trich cause it has no serious applications., it does however put reason forward as a toy on its own.,

far as I can tell, there is no word of any substantial changes to the mixer or the sound engine in 3.0

May be its just me and my ignorence, but thats the 100's time I hear this "Sound engine" thing and still have no idea what the beast is ! Are there any parameters I should know ? Any info, like why one's sound engine is better ?
