Reason 2.5 - plug ins??

Hi, it is some months I'm testing reason doing some tracks and trying fx combination and others, what I wanted to know is what kind of plug ins is good to have in trance composition, I don't have a lot of knowledge in plug ins and I wanted to know you opinion and experience...

You can't use plug-ins in Reason. You can use the Reason built in effects. Try to use a compressor on bassline/kick, and experiment with eq and maybe a light phaser on some of your sounds. The best thing you could do though is use some better software that lets you use third party plugins (like Logic). If you use reason, the main plugins you will need is are mastering plug-ins to be used in some other mastering host, because by itself Reason sounds pretty bad when you burn it out to a cd. Reason 2.5 does not have the ability to dither so when you make a track for a cd you are losing 8 bits of your sound. |
