Right . . . . i need a little help from you know it alls

I want to duck my bassline on the kick but unfortunately there is no sidechain compressor in 2.5, however it can be reproduced on the normal compressor if done correctly (im reliably informed) can someone please tell me how to do this, which cables go where . . . . . (ive got my kick playing in an N19 sampler and my bass in an N19 too) ive patterned both using matrixes rather than patterning them in the sequencer if that makes any difference on cabling etc. Help would be much appreciated here. Thanks

I could just have no bass on the kick but i would like to learn how to do this anyway.

Ta very much in advance

im not sure its possible in rason 2. it can never be stereo sidechain anyway. what you can do is use volume automation, its almost the same, plus you will have SO much more control on how it should go.

if your ever on reason 3, ill show you how to do it

good luck
