I think the better way is to note them down on the back of the CD or something. I used to do that with the BPM.
Mixed In Key can do this automatically for you. Otherwise, songs on beatport always show you the key.

cant you just get the synth in the headphones and mess around till you find the right key? then put it in the mix and proceed to play?

Thx fellows, i think that title should be changed in "very messy hibryd live setup" 
i'm looking forward to MIxed in Key

i Also tried running a deck to a Behringer V-Amp
(send) that has a built in tuner
As expcted the pitch detection is very gross and works only with mid-hi frequency instruments
if u chain it on a pad intro it will works, but there's still an error margine!

The setup is coming out like this:
-Deck 1 Macbook & traktor 3 with hercules controller
-Deck 2 CDj100 (but it's not mine so i have to replace it)
-Deck 2 #2 : Ibook 12" (with korg nanokontrol for play cue etc)
-24channel analog mixer (yea it's a big ass, but it's all i have)
-Microkorg (noises, swooshes, sci-fi style fx)
-Access Virus A (pads, leads) (midied and played from microkorg)
-V-AMP; Lexi MPX1 , MXR Phase 90 (thru di boxes)
hooked in send whit return on one stereo channel to eqalize it.
All signals comes to Master Out 1-2 to the FOH
For recording everithing I duplicated what goes in in 1-2 to group 3-4 ----> Hercules Rca input
but i have some problems with levels,
to avoid hiss i have to keep the group faders not above 0db , but the level of recording it's still too quiet (peaks at -18-20)
and i have to compress the whole thing getting the hiss to come out again
