Really need help on lead synths!!!!!!!!!

After managing to create descent basslines and drum layers i still suffer with the lead sounds, how to create those squeaky sounds or fat saw leads, i hope some one could help me out., i mostly do 303 sounding leads but i need something else to my music im so muchinto melicia, space tribe,altom kinda leads and i'm using mostly vanguard,discovery,Korg legacy to name a few. Thanks in advance |

mindfilter ,create your own psy presets , then add chorus or/and flanger /phazer, disto... , eq , compress , delay and or /reverb and...

Morax: cool url... but it wasn't a dumb question...
MindFilter: Listen to psy and choose wich sounds suit your style then try to emulate them starting from presets in your fav synth.
Also, you can create your own synth patches with radical new sounds wich will put everyone and their father in trance... (lololol.. just said this before someone says "that's copting others work, etc")
There are also some patches in this forum wich you may like... i havent tryed any but as they got so much replys they must be good.

For 303 leads - Audiorealism Bassline
For fat saw, try Z3ta with two multi saws, detuned slightly. Or maybe Vanguard. I'd recommend a C4 afterwards to tighten up the freq's some, especially on the low end so it doesn't interfere with your bass (moreso for Z3ta). A little chorus and you should be crushed by fat saw leads. |
