reality vs festival

Going to a festival is like finding temporary insanity. And afterwards i find it so sureal to be normal again. Always so scared of not returning from a trip u know. Sometimes afraid i would get stuck there,, somewhere in the vortex

It always takes me a day or two to get used to the festival culture.
At first I often think 'what the hell am I doing here with all these hippies', but after a wild night which usually involves taking certain substances, I get the vibe and start to feel at home 
When the end of the festival nears, I feel depressed and feel like I'm not ready to go back to the normal world again and would prefer going to another festival or two.
But this topic should be moved to the general Trance section, hardly anyone seems read/post in the festival section.

Yeah I know, our parties is mostly just a 3 day festival- and on the friday there is hardly anything going on, can also not trip like two days in a row, too hectic for me. And on sundays it ends, so its really just a one day festival. however new years vortex is 4 days and pumping from the start, i wonder if my mind would survive such an ordeal, lol

hehehe, when u go to a 7 days festival, then you'll see how it is to go back to normal
And after the 1st two days, you will be tripping everyday and it feels like your normal state lol

Nah you don't want to go home and shower! One of the best things at a 7 day fest is when you've been dancing for days and are all disgusting and sweaty and horrible, then you smoke a fat one and go to the shower while it's nice and sunny and there you will experience nirvana. |

no. if you are close to the festival and drive home for these things, it'll be more like an outdoor party, you won't get the "festival vibe"
i can also attest, that even if you're sober the whole time at a good (7 day) festival, then the outside world still looks just as alien and unwelcoming when you have to leave again. |
