Reaktor grooveboxes seem to work as standalone, but i would like to send that thta signal to a sequencer, cubase in this case, how can i route that signal., beacuse if i load them in cubase reaktor grooveboxes keep on playing, all i want is to control them in the piano roll.

You need to check how the sequencer used by the groovebox is used. If there is clear separation between the two, maybe you can easily replace the sequencer part with midi inputs. Some boxes might react to midi anyway, so maybe there is a way to stop the internal sequencer...

Or did you mean that you want the groovebox sequencer to send the midi to the midi sequencer (cubase in your case)?...

hey

been using reaktor for sometime already, but only till version 3

as far as i remember, each instrument needs to be assigned to a midi channel(top right of the window, if memory doesn't fail), than, if i understood, if you want for example automate the start and stop switch that makes the groovebox run, you need to assign a midi cc to it(right click on the object)
save emsemble
open vst host, load reaktor, load emsemble, add midi track to the project, assign it to reaktor and use the midi channel you choosed for the instrument, and you're ready for automations

if you're on to use another reaktor inst on the track, you don't need to load a new reaktor instance, just load the new instrument in the instance already opened but assign it to a different midi channel

though, things may have changed now on reaktor5(?)
best luck

You can control the sequences from Cubase if you want. The midi-notes in Cubase correspond to sequences in the sequencer of Reaktor. Check the sequencer module in the ensemble to find out on which midi-channel it receives input.
