For an accurate automation of raktor 5 in logic 5.5 i wanted to do track based automation but the parameters to automate appear as (unused)that means that no parameter is assigned to be automated. i hope i made myself clear, also i don{t know if depends of the ensemble im using, in this case im a using a juno 106 ensemble. |

well some ensambles comes with no midi assingment
here some stuff u have to do.......
1st thing open ens preferenses (open structure and right click on ens) and set in tab on the right (i think this tab calls control) there is automation settings ont he bottom....
set the 'max id' to be 1
then go to the preferences of the knob that u want to automate
again in control tab....
turn on 'activate midi in' and at the bottom set the automation id (actual CC channel that u will c in logics automation menus)
thats it
now take a note....
if ens built up from few different modules ull have to set 'max id' systematicly for each of them (ull leanrn with time) coze CC channels of different knobs can switch by themselfs...
so u can end up tweaking settings for cuttof on sertain CC channel and write the automation but then u want to tweak feedback of delay for example and u start to mess with delay settings and u hit play sudenly ull find out that cuttof automation working for different knob and not for cuttof
so remmember which module gets what 'max id'
bottom line to avoid this mess .... for each knob u have 'global id'
'global id' is influence by 'max id' of module and 'automation id'
so take care that for each knob u have his own 'global id'
hope its helps ya
