ok guys ,
i loaded reaktor 4 into nunedo ... and asssigned it to a midi trk ....
now it has 4 seperate outs ... as many multi timbral synths have these days .....
but wat dont understand is ....
do these 4 outs allow me to work with 4 different ensebles using just 1 instance of reaktor ????
or with these 4 outs ...i can use just 1 ensemble with 4 different presets ... ?
and how do i assign differnent ensembles to diff midi trks ...? just by sending info on diff midi channel nos .. ?? as is the case with other synths ...
also i cant seem to find the option in reaktor where i can specify / assign which ensemble should go to which output ...
hope u guys help and understand !
respect ... boom !

reaktor is a bit different with its multi outs because of its modular nature.
Basically one ensemble is giving you 4 outs per instance. To use the 3rd and 4th output you would load 2 reaktor "instruments" into the same ensemble and then connect one instrument to outputs 1+2 in the ensemble audio out and connect the other to 3+4 in the same ensemble audio out.
You can then change what midi channel the "instrument" is receiving on from within the ensemble in the properties for that instrument.
yes, its a bit confusing |

ok try this...
load up any ensemble. in the ensemble view(where you can see the instrument box being wired into the big audio out box inside reaktor) right click, go to insert / synths and insert one of the synths into the ensemble. wire this into where you see the numbers 3 and 4 in the big audio out box.
it might even be easier trying to do this in the standalone version just to see what im talking about. |
