I find peoples comments here just as biased toward the House scene and techno scene as people are against the psytrance scene. Probably because people speak from zero experience

Psy trance is such a big thing these days that for anyone judge tar all the music with the same brush is either lazy or just plain naieve. |

to each his own but gotta agree my views are a bit biased.... although each music culture has its pros and cons, i guess we should just respect the diversity in the electronica scene .... but at the bottom of my heart will always love the psy scene.

Well thanks Braindrop for this forum. It's matter of taste. For sure actually I am personally bored with psytrance beceause I ve done this music too much and I went to this kind of parties too many times in my life. So it's not like the 1st time I experiment psytrance and tried to learn this music. Anyway You can take, minimal, electro, psytrance, detroit when it's well made and there are good artists behind, it's working! It's Techno!!! it's different in the form but the same in the fund.
If you listen Minilogue, Jeff Mills, Boris Brejcha, Kindzadza at the end the goal is to travell with music and dance whatever the style. And also you can find bad music in each style and it's the case most of the time. Really rare to find a dj who can makes you dance until the end . But there are in each style after it always a matter of taste, if you prefer red wine or white wine.

Anyone who thinks psy-trance is shit hasn't had enough class As. Too right trance is not for everyone, especially lightweights.

different options!! different minds !! Different Genres of Electronic DANCE MUSIC !!
as far as my experience goes ..i have seen more shiny happy souls dancing and laughing at PSY TRANCE parties than any where else... no one is bothered bout who you are ..what you do..which country you from ...what religion you follow !!! they all dance together with out any borders and boundaries !!
where as in HOUSE ..techno ..club parties ppl are bothered bout who u are ..what u do ...how u r dressed ..who u with ...where u sitting/stnading..VIP area...LOUnGE ..who u no..who u don`t know..all the stuff tht basically has nothing to do with music or dance!!
i say keep the drug/substance part separate ..its upto individuals ...i hv seen as of substance used at
METAL GIGs/ CLUB NITES..LIVE GIGS as any other psy trance gig ..which is a totally diff thing ..
Ppl with gUns don`t understand!!!

It is exactly the other way - you can look how you like and you will be respected completely if you are friendly.
And this is bullshit with sharing bongs etc.That is a private thing.People might be strange at some point when they don'T want to share.
I know hardcore goa people who do not use drugs even at all and dance like on overdosis.

I am aware of that some here have a hard time spotting irony
Please see my post in retrospect to the post I was quoting.
When that is said I have met my fair share of people in the psytrance scene who look at you like your an alien because you say no to their spliffs or bongs.
