Looks cool, free and more soft in resources should be good, i will give more a 2 years then i will try change for it.

I have notepad++ on my laptop for quick web design edits.
But I've never had a problem with Notepad copying text? Can you give a scenario which produces issues? |

I'm using bbClean on my main computer and LiteShell on my live laptop.
bbClean is handy as a replacement for explorer with much more convenient means of organizing applications for launching and it has multiple desktops which is handy. It's a little bit lighter than explorer, but I mostly use it for the added convenience.
LiteShell was one of the more minimal ones I could find and on my live laptop I hardly need any shell functionality...I could really boot straight into Abelton, but it's handy to have something for launching apps when I need to use a a text or sysex editor to edit my configuration.
Some people run ReactOS explorer as an alternative as well...but I have not tried that myself.
