This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while, I thought you guys would like to see it.

It's essentially something like Max/MSP or Puredata, except it's on a the surface of a table. There are these little circular objects you lay on the table, which represent oscillators, and LFOs and things, and when they are close to each other, they send out visual waveforms on to each other, and modulate each other, synthesizing sound...

It's really hard to explain, check it out.

That's indeed a very awesome project !
The radar trigger was very interesting ... so many capabilities heheh

way to go ! reacTable.

and the UI is very slick too.

Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

very cool... it will be interesting to see what types of sounds and music are made and what new techniques evolve once these tools are readily available

Freaking Crazy Man!!

These are nice, cool, funky toys to have lying around the house!!

The coolest thing would probably be that you can see the shape and intensity of the waveform producing the sound and also gives you a visual perspective - Psynaesthesia!!!

Next i wanna see myself make music with a WAND!!

my friend has a smaller version of this, not as many capabilities but the same idea, there is even a sampler "block" you can record something into and play it back at different pitches with filtering and stuff, we played with it for a few hours the other night, it was fun at least
