So the mother of all threads are a great idea.
But what about the mother of all whooshes, splooshes, beeps, and squeaks. Maybe one with different ways to make weird sound fx?

If I'm missing something thats already there please let me know.

Fugga,

I have been looking for something like this for a long time. any suggestions for sound effects? have tried reversing some samples like crashes kicks etc, and even applying effects to the reversed and re-reversing it again, but cant seem to get a good swooooooosh-boom! any suggestions for samples/ patches?

will check out the midi files tonight, and post feedback.

by the way, I appreciate your enthusiasm and generousity

peace,

D

they were pretty good examples, but albeit a little simple. your obviously a good midi engineer, so lets see some real crazy stuff, like on your teachers pet MIDI.

similarly, you reminded me of the fact that fill loops make good break builders.
