TES <and all others>.... i suggest u should use the Macedonia airpot<at Thessaloniki>...Thessaloniki is about 300 km away from Alexandroupoli.....Athens is 800 km away from Alexandroupoli... ..........so check for flight to Macedonia airport<Thessaloniki> better.
U can take a plane<hmm>...bus..taxi,,, or train to go from Thessaloniki to Alexandroupoli.
From Alexandroupoli u will need to take a boat to reach the island<Samothraki>.
There are 2 kinds of boats there..the hydrofoils<1 hour trip > and the normal boat <2 and a half hours trip :-o>
