FEATURED ARTISTS:
LUKE STOKES (LSE) - Abstract Science
Noon - 3 PM
Chicago based DJ, Deezal Records founder, and co-host of Abstract
Science on WLUW 88.7 fm since 1999. Luke has been making a name for
himself for several years working with record labels such as Invisible
Records and Hefty Records. He has been involved in Radio since 1995 when
he started work for 88.1 KCOU in Columbia, MO. Luke is always on the run
around the country with a wide variety of bands from all genres and
seems to be on tour most of the time. When home, you can hear him
exploring droned out downtempo, dub, idm, and deep ambient soundscapes
laced with sound bites and spoken word.
PHONAUT - AtmoWorks
3 - 6 PM
Noah Phonaut is a local audiotourist and sound artist whose ambientechno
mixes were broadcasted on WNUR's Friday night Streetbeat show for over 7
years. Phonaut has also performed in the city's various clubs, lounges,
restaurants and parties. Currently allied with the Atmoworks label,
Phonaut's sets often cover a variety of styles, mixing homegrown tracks
with obscure downtempo grooves, space lounge, and quantum ambient.
DAMON - Divine Balance / Chillumafia
6 - 8:30 PM
Listening to music is never enough. Damon continues to slather you
within a seamless intervention of psymbient, downtempo, dub & world
music. Within his love of melody & tribal elements he dives into all
timelines, releasing a blend of articulately chosen worldly sounds.

YIDAM - Divine Balance / Chillumafia / Bengaliens
8:30 - 11 PM
Yidam projects balance and motion using sonic atmospheres, deep dub
drones and psychedelic chillout. He aims to create moments that provide
the senses with vast open space. Yidam's integration of organic
instruments adds a live element to the waves that send listeners
floating through the stratosphere.
DERBY - Chilluminati / Touch Samadhi
11 PM - 2 AM
In his life as a traveler, Derby came upon the sounds of psychedelica in
Europe. Settling soon thereafter in Chicago, he became a resource that
pulled those with similar musical tastes together. Derby has since
proven to positively affect the Midwest Psy/Goa music scene by being a
driving force behind Touch Samadhi & a founding member of The
Chilluminati. You can expect to hear a skillful set of funky melodic
soundscaping electronica.
MAXXX - Zac Franzoni
LIVE PAINTING - 10 PM - 2 AM
Zac "Maxxx" Franzoni was trained by an elite group of time-travellling
artists sent to usher in The New Renaissance.
