i dont like it i hate it actually i dont think im using it correctly
whats the sequence of knob movements for a bassline?
do u put it with the kick s a group channel or is it just for the bass?

hehe yer..little expensice actualy..
i got 4 sonnox plugs for free, cause i sold a lot and it was part of a dealer program , so im lucky with that..
dont know the sonic maximizer but inflator is kinda maximizer as well, it even adds some low fq..and sounds really good..if its worth 200 bugs i dont know..
probably wouldnt spend so much money unless i got a lot of it..

i dont know if its the same, but try "XBASS4000" i use it quite alot to give "body" and Soul to some particular sounds

try rbass on bass like like this..
0.make a good bass sound which fits the song
1.eq hp 70, 24db
2.rbass just a little bit between 45-80hz
3.reduction 2-6db, comp 8-12, attack long (for transients), short release (for fast line) + warmer
4.eq hp 50 16db, filter -(2-6)db somewhere, between 160-210hz..another an octave above
sounds sometimes good.. i remove messy sub and add sub harmonics with rbass. then with compressor use "long" attack so it will pass the highs and snapy rhythm part of bass note but effect as tighten up low fq which comes shorty behind.
there is no guarantee
