I think MaxxBass and Rbass can be useful for the bass and for special fx in breaks which are supposed to be really bassy. For bass mostly less is more. A little bit of maxxbass can give u the result u r after. But if u don't need to use it for every bass.
U can find the link a small plug, baxxpander, i made anywhere here in the forum. It is a bit similar to maxxbass, but it is also able to cut frequencies. Baxxpander just calculates the harmonies based on the base freq and emphases or cuts then with filters, but remember less is more in most cases.
