Has anybody on france ever heard about Rave Up???
There are 2 djs from rave up playing in brazil next week and I´d really like to know what the hell is rave up...
infos, infos, infos.... PLEASE!

Hi,
Rave up is infact a radio show on radio fg since the early 90's, don't know exactly when it began.
but I remember in '95, it was the only radio you could listen to before going to parties with Mike Maguire playing, or Joti, Tsuyoshi and the others at that time. Now it's still going on with this good old Patrick Rognant and his friend Atyss.
They did a lot for trance here in France, thanks to them. my first tape of psytrance was a mix from Tsuyoshi and Holeg recorded by a friend on rave up in '95...cannot forget that tape and this show!

cool.... pat & atyss (dj team).... exactly! These are the 2 guys that will be playing on the party tomorrow... I´ll be playing there as well, Filippo (Lotus Omega), Antaro (Spirit Zone) and some other dudes.... cool! |

oh oh.....! i wish the party wasn't too bad because of their music...
they sometimes have "terrible" sets here too, don't worry...surely they played their hard weird stuff and it was too much for every body...
to say something more positive, I hear that Ninja was in Brazil a few days ago, did you hear or play with him ? did you appreciate ? |

Yeah...sure I met him (Ninja).... we´ve played on the same festival (Brazilian´s Festival) and then he played on my club, Freak*a*Delic.... we were supposed to play on a party sunday morning together but the party didn´t really happend...
well... I like his music... nothing that really impressed me, but good music.... I believe he played a lot of 'hits', u know.... music that has been played several times for brazilian djs.... but it was good.... this boy has a very good technique! I believe we´re playing together next sunday again... someone told me he is coming back for this party... also Dino Psaras, Neuromotor and Suria... but I´m not pretty sure if it´s confirmed....
about pat & atyss... well, I was playing 146 bpm, talamasca... I finished my set and they entered with a techno crap 135 bpm.... and then, the next one was a 152 bpm full on shitty music.... I couldn´t understand anything.... very boring music.... bah!
