RAM are mad rabid animals modulating ridiculous atmospheres, manipulating
rubbery and malleable rendered audio, while maintaining rapidity, allowing maximised
rage and monstrosity. Radically advanced material, refined and moulded, rapidly alters mental responses as moronic rhythms and mad raucous alien melodies radiate and mutate.
This seminal English hardcore act turned heads with their first release this summer on Fragile Planet Records and follow it up with the epic and extraordinary album "Efficient Chips".
RAM (alias SCORB and NRS) are talented recluse Yod Onsen and the brilliant
yet troubled Lek Black - collaborating here for the first time to forge an explosive
new underground sound for 2004.
Their genre defining night time barrage began to take shape earlier last year. Lek, fresh after returning from a long European convalescence after his involvement in a bizarre gardening accident, and Yod recovering from a botched alien abduction, obtained a large supply of alcohol and went about creating something new, dynamic and,,, deadly serious.
Unfortunately, due to certain irregularities, the project was nearly shelved.
Luckily supplies were restored allowing this exciting duo to again see the light of day (and a big thanks go to whoever may be concerned).
So now, widely tipped to be this year's U.K sensation, RAM unleash their monster debut album "Efficient Chips", proving they are a dynamic, cutting edge, dark sound force to be reckoned with.

RAM are going to rock, this is for sure. I have seen them recently and they played me some of this album and it is going to blow peoples minds. Nice one chris can't wait for this one

Great choice for an Album release... I heard some of the older RAM stuff the last time Scorb was out... Really good stuff... Can't wait!!!

I really like these guys music. I have recently been hanging out in their studio listening to their tunes. They have a very fresh uk sound, powerful, twisted and demented . Also watch out for the forthcoming NRS album which is a killer released on Paul's new label "Last Possible Solution". |

yeah,, its in mastering at the moment and i can tell u that this is some HOT shit!!
i am very pleased and proud to be releasing this album on my new label,, i think its really something quite outstanding..
it reminds me of the classic dark soho sound,, but more psychedelic and pumped up with sic production tricks... FAT TECHNO and MASSIVE LEADS.. its nightime dancefloor destruction at its best

wikkid new album - full of surprises from these two well established artists - the great thing is that their styles compliment each other so much; fusing twisted, loopy psychedelics and leads with upfront techno and dance - and to top it all off awesome pads bring a chilling euphoria to the whole mix . . .
makes for a great listen and no doubt a pumped up dance floor - |
