well first of all i must say: oh my f***ing god!!!
just heard it now while driving in a friend's car and damn, i haven't been thrilled like this from a compilation or album in a long while (my first album review even).
i just didn't know how well raja-ram can mix, i mean when i looked at the track names of the cd, well, i thought it was just another nostalgia cd with nothing new to it, but i must say i was surprised to hear that even though almost all the tracks are somewhat known, they were mixed in a way with such fluency, where everything connects, that it actually felt like it was something new altogether.
longer tracks like the tracks taken from "the mystery of the 13 crystal skulls" were cut to about three, four minutes, and still retained their magic. (the compilation has 16 tracks!!!)
all in all a very full-on compilation that just keeps you on your toes :)
run and buy it :)

The point of this compilation isn't the music, it's Raja's mixing it together to give one hell of a trip for everyone listening. And he does it with big hits mixed with goa classics with a touch of his very own magic. Even if you don't like the tracks there, just enjoying Raja's storytelling is worth it.

poison inside, listen to this mix and then write. :)

I also thought it's just a bunch of older stuff but now that I listen to it I can tell you it's one of the best mixes I ever heard. even between tracks 1 and 2 I can recognize at least 2 other tracks that Raja used in the mix and those tracks aren't in the tracks listing at all.. ;) amazing.
