There's a little button bar at the top and bottom of each mixer channel, click it and it should light up blue.

Then ctrl-click (or alt click? shift click? I forget) the other channels you want to select.

THEN right-click anywhere on the mixer, and select "link channels".

It's not as obvious as the Logic marquee method, but it's better, because you can have several separately linked groups of channels.

Just remember to right click and un-link the channels if you want individual control back.          http://soundcloud.com/aeon604

DON'T DO IT!

The control-law in SX2 is broken so that when you change the levels of linked faders, they WILL NOT all change by the same amount. Your mix will change - maybe not much, but it will change.

Other ways of achieving the same effect are sending all the faders you want to change to a group channel and raising the level of the group, or raising the master level by the given amount and then lowering the channels you DON'T want to change by that amount.

Personally, although it's more time-consuming (and you need to be accurate with it!), if you know exactly by how much you want to change the levels by, I would go through each channel you want to change and alter its level by hand.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Interesting... well, while I haven't noticed problems with the linked levels, I've been doing the group channel thing for a while, it's nice to have Kick+Bass, Drums, Synths and misc FX split up in their own separate groups.

Is the control law bug fixed in SX3?

In the initial versions of SX3 it was still broken, but apparently it is fixed in the latest update.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
