Cubase > fill every insert slot with quadrafuzz and pull the first and last bands to the floor on the last one.

There is a plugin callsed speakerphone, that uses a similar process to convolution reverb to creates stupid effects as if your sound was going through a megaphone/radio/telephone...

I've not used it, so I can't comment.

Tweak guitarrig 2. Use a broad bandpass filter and try some amps/overdrives. radio/cellphone comes down to crappy quality sound no?           http://www.soundcloud.com/bandarlog

Yeah Guitar Rig has some good effects to make the voice sound effed up.

You could also try down sampling that could make that effect.          https://www.djjeto.com

It's a pain to get it into the plugin, but the stylus rmx has a really good radio filter thing that I use occasionally... Admitted, it's a process to get it into the stylus rmx, but some of those onboard fx own.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

trash is also kinda nice for those effects!

especially experiment with the filters & the box model/buzz...

maybe also izotope vinyl, but havent tried that yet...          https://soundcloud.com/hazak

Thanx for the speakerphone tip guys. Also check PSP Nitro if you want to use a light plugin. It has a nice squelchy radio preset.
