Has anyone had a good experience with a rackmount multi fx or delay unit, old or new..
I'm looking for rackmount gear so i'd appreciate links.

Hard to answer if we dont know how much you are prepered to pay for it...?
If you want cheap but good stuff look for second hand Sony DPS models. The DPS-V77 is supposed to be really really good and its quite cheap. I have the DPS-v55m and its pretty good to. A hell of alot better than the new TC and Lexicon budget stuff (TC M300 and lexicon MPX stuff).
But its pretty limited as a delay machine only. Its just gots a lot of fx and they all quite good. I like the reverb and the chorus.
If price it not an issue then Eventide for shure as Alex says. |

what about Lexicon mx400 (or mx200), this hardware works as vst, and you have 4 in/4 out, this means that you can work with the hardware in your host with 4 (or 2) channel effect, its also perfect for live sound.
but if you have money, Eventide H8000FW is the one for you
