quick stupid FL question

Say I got my whole project playing. Then I want ALL of the sound to mute, EXCEPT one sample playing... How do I do that?

Rout your sample to a channel that you use only for that sample, go to the mixer window and rightclick on the led of that channel, the small green light underneath were you can see the spl of the track! That solo's it. If you want to render your track that way, I suggest to rout that channel output to where your speakers go and take the master fader all the way down.the sample will have output on it's own and all the rest is muted! However, if you want to play that same sample again while other tracks are playing make sure you use a clone of that sample and have that in yet another channel with no output!

hmmmmm...
right click on the sample and hit solo......except for that sample all the rest will be muted... if u route that sample to the mixer n then hit solo(from the mixer) all the samples that are routed to the mixer will mute... the ones that are'nt routed and ur sample will be playing..... |

Yes, like in Pro Tools where all you have to do is hit the mute button or the solo button and even automate either with ease...
