To my ears turbosound sounds pretty average, if badly tuned even bad.
Quite overrated in my opinion.
But hey, who cares, I like blue and the name is cool 
I'm sure if you put wheels under those speakers and sit on them they will be faster then any other brand.
And even more: the sound coming out of those speakers will be faster then sound coming out of other speakers... And therefore hit your head harder and throw the music further..
just as the light coming out of "turbolight" lasers is faster then light from other lasers
laws of physics suck anyway...

turbosounds are very loud indeed and funktion-one are even louder and their bass bins go down to an incredible 20 Hz ! amazing innit ?
But i prefer other systems like the french built L-acoustics i find the sound more clear and tighter in the bass frequencies.
the link between turbosound and funktion-one is that (i think) dissapointed engineers left the turbosound company to fund a new brand called funktion-one. But drinking a few beers helps to appreciate them ... |

well basically if its good or bad is a whole new topic...
the thing is...
at least here in israel ppl grew up with turbosound...
so when u spend sooo much time tripping and staring at those blue boxes...eventually u will have some kind of relationship with it...
bring on funktion one...i wouldnt mind listen to what they offer....their concept is cool for sure
