Question regarding sound treatment

I'm moving my studio to a space outside my flat. This will be a dedicated studio space. The only issue is the dimensions of the place itself. The ceiling stands at a mere 1.85m (or 6.1 foot) and there are four small breading windows (20cmx20cm) with no glass. Basically four holes in the the walls. My question is:

is the height of the ceiling an issue? What sort of treatmnet should i apply to such low ceiling?

Also...

Should i cover the holes in the wall? They are also the only breading aparatus to the room, connecting it to a large garage space...

Thanks for your input,

You don't necesarilly have to do anything about the ceiling as long as it is not a square box.
What is the length and depth?

auralex has a nice service on their website, send a drawing of your room on scale and they give you a pretty decent advice, then try to find 2nd hand stuff like i did and follow the advice. at the end it became very decent in my place for reasonable price.           http://soundcloud.com/vipal

The room is actually a square type space with 5mx2.5m and 1.85m high ceiling. I'm afraid that such a low ceiling even with treatment can be tricky.

What about the holes in the walls?

about the holes i think is good, since the sound pass away and dont reflect back to the room. they are symetric to the room???            Main Fusion aka Dj Adhara

Nope...2 walls with 2 holes and 2 with none. The issue is that holes communicate to a huge garage space...so i'm wondering about bringing this huge space inside the studio...sound wise.

Thank you all. I'm sending a drawing of the room to Auralex and also digging deep on the gearslutz forum.

I'll let you know when it's done.
