Hi!

I just wonder, is it a vital thing to build my kick with a generated sinewave that is in the frequency off the rootkey to get the kick tuned to my bassline?

Example:

I decide I want to make a track with F as the root key....when i generate the sinewave i go to soundforge and make it in 43.65 HZ..cause F1 is about 43.65 Hz....then I tweak it to my liking...but can I use a sinewave with for eaxample 50Hz and tweak it in a way so it'll be tuned to the root F ??

How ar u guys doing it?

Would be grateful for answers...

peace!

in my thread I learned that it doesn't matter aslong as it sounds good... the kick or the bass choose wich one will govern 30-50hz

I tune them anyway tho..usually always sounds better and together as one. Just tune them, and play with sweep time instead.

Get Bazzism instead of going backwards and forwards into forge..

agree with jizy,

if u wanna sound in tune, then go ahead and tune it. for explorin other sides just go for the unusual.

anyway i tune all my stuff to specific scales and stuff according to my bpm i try to achieve the most exactly stuff i can, makes no sense doin this with a 50hz sinewave, cause sure u have to tune it down after. so if u wanna tune, u should do at the source btw i try to tune the end too sounds weired, but its the way im working

cheerz

ps: GET BAZZISM!!!

yea i try, sure this after the kickthingy but pretty hard to calculate if u dont do your hatz/snares yourself. anyway, usually i tune this too, but only that it fits my taste. i dont need perfect roundish music, but i like that as kinda strain or root in the track....

hm, sorry my bad english here           FUCK GENRES, LOVE MUSIC!!!!
