Question for Reaper users

I have been using reaper since the very beginning of my music production exploration. Right now, I have it on both my desktop and and my laptop. My desktop is running Windows Xp, and therefore obviously running at 32 bit, while my laptop is running windows 7, and a 64 bit version.

Something I have noticed about the 32bit version of reaper is that it's buggier. One of the biggest problems I have is sync problems with my native instruments stuff. The sync doesn't work with reaper. I can get around this by turning off the external sync (in massive at least) but there is still problems with somethings, like fm8's arp (actually fm8 has a ton of bugs, like all the nobs resetting themselves, which also still happens in the 64bit version).

But the most annoying aspect of the 32 bit version is drums. Maybe its just because I am using battery, and so its just a weird NI compatibility thing, but my drums are always just the slightest bit off. This becomes more apparent in higher bpm stuff. I will admit, my computer isn't the newest kid on the block, so that might have something to do with it.

I am starting to use my laptop a little more, but even though on paper, the computer is faster, and has more ram, windows 7 is a memory hog, and I can't open as many vst/vsti's before I start hitting some stuttering.
Does anyone else have these problems? What are your thoughts and complaints about reaper?
