Question for Artists/Dj's?

Hello all the artists...
first id like to thank u on behalf of the psypopulation.For bringin music and a chance to smile..  .God knows we need it in todays world. 
My question was:
..When in a festival or a large party which features numerous artists playin 'Live' eg. Solstice,FulMoon.Boom..etc who supplies the equipment. DO the artists bring their own mixers  and turntables/cd players,guitars  etc? Different equipment wud be needed for all these artists right. And if only one particular set is provided for all are all artists comfortable with that?..
Any info wud be appreciated...

most artists just come with a laptop and a cd case. mostly everything else is supplied (sometimes for no apparent reason) by the party organizer.
some artists bring their own cables, special connections, things they believe (or have experienced) that would not exist outside their country, etc.
sometimes the artists themselves dont show up... but that's a whole diffrent story alltogether.

Now, don't forget your own headphones or you'll end up running all over looking for a pair.
..and to add - sometimes you'll see strange looking, bulky contraptions on the Dj table. They are called Turntables. They are for playing vinyl records. THere's a tradition for each DJ to bring their own needles, too, so they wouldn't have to play on needles worn-out by other DJs. but that's quickly becoming stuff of legend in this our psytrance universe.
yah.
so since at least half the time the super-expensive equipment the organizers have to rent goes unused by the artist, why not just make life-like replicas of the most popular synths and consoles out of, say, paper-mache, and then use them at every party?? somebody could make a killing manufacturing those.

HAhah...very cynical !!
AND i know what turntables are..HAH!!! personally i think every dj shud use them instead of cd players..
headphones seem appropriate..u prolly wudnt wanna use somone else's sweaty ones...
..What abt Live..they have a whole studio mixer i guess??
