I received yesterday a Nord Lead 1 (trade it with another synth), which is my first Nord as well and im really amazed to how it still sounds (even though its more than 10 years old!!), ILOVEIT

My question is about setting fx's to it
Ive routed Nord to RME's inputs and play it with a novation midi
In Nuendo ive made a midi channel to play midi parts and below it an audio channel which records the audio from Nord

Is there any option, it is probably a routing matter, but how can i make the signal to be heard with plugins on its chain,
For example i put some notes on the midi track and the Nord plays them, without any effect ,, when im recording it to the audio channel below , i can listen it with fx's only when playback this channel, but cant find a way to to work during real time play

Any options/opinions bout this
thanx ppl

in logic it works like simply put effects oon the track you re recording to and monitor from it

got no idea how this works in nuendo tough.           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

"Have you ever had that feeling where you're not sure if you're awake or still dreaming?"
"Hmm, yeah... All the time, man - it's called mescaline. The only way to fly!"

i know, it works here too, but only when playback the recorded track
i wanted to hear the signal with the fx when playing from midi part or my fingers, you know like having the nord its own on board fx's not just the dry signal
adjustments should be the same in Nuendo/Cubase, maybe im doing something wrong in there
its still sound great though
thanx

vst connection -> external instrument -> new instrument-> give it a name-> mark its inputs (rme input 1+2 for example)
then go to midi device manager, mark the name of the external instrument, and mark the midi input and output. or go for the list and open nord lead 1 and than show the midi in and out.
than go to vst instrument->external instrument->open the device. and than you use it like vst, and you can open fx when still midi...

Sorry to hijack your thread, but Is this also possible in Logic to setup the external instrument so that you can have |EFX running off the MIDI channel instead of having to use the Audio channel?
