Learn to do correctly a bass on vb-1 And it is impossible to do that on it, and has read many positive responses

Depends on what sound you are after  Vb1 can become many things
i think your demo sounds promising, add some more sounds and mix it a little better!
this is how it can sound with Vb1 also

Yes both basses sounds ok for me.
The combo quadrafuzz + sidechain + a right eq can do miracles. Did you try Waves RBass?
@zuko: the snare seems to be worst than the bass...
