Question about sequencers (as Matrix on Reason 2.5)

Hello hermanos!
I have a question. Somebody knows if exist some VST to work as a sequencer? (eg. Matrix on Reason) ?? I want to know how can i create a melodic bassline with some VST!

u have the EXS24 (sampler from logic ) in vst format in the internet its a nice one .. or u have the sampler .. from plugsounds they are also good |

You don't need one. You can go to the midi editor and enter the notes with your mouse. It's like the matrix, only longer. |

cool, well, that sounds good.. only in the piano roll and make the sequence.. but i was seeing that in reason matrix the velocity es more faster than the piano roll in the FL.. I dont know why.. if i put the TEMPO in 148bpms!!
Anybody knows??

uuh?.
actually, you can emulate an old style sequencer with any piano roll thing.,
just remember.,
quantise all notes (let's say, to 16th notes)
note length is half that (so, in this case 32th.. so the space between notes is as long as the notes themselfs)
if you want a 'glide' then make the notes overlapping (so the previous note ends after the next one starts)

Only problem with the 'Step Designer' is that it's confined to only one octave, if you scroll up or down you lose the notes. I think that there are several alternatives though, most notably Sonicbytes Era:
