Thanks for your reply, Katapult! I'll check this one out right away. The price is satisfying
If anyone else got some suggestions of mixers that
1) Are quite simple when it comes to lines and features
2) Provide good sound quality
3) Are relative cheap (preferably not more than 200$)
then shoot it out |

Why not buying a new soundcard??? I really can´t see the point of buying a mixer only for volume fader...
Search for soundcards that has a pre amp, so u can record mics.
That´s my opinion...

SMS: Well the motu 828 that you mentioned before costs too much for me at the moment. Am just an amateur and recently I've spend a lot of $$$ on a new computer and the genelecs. I'm just not willing at this point to give it that much money. Okay sure, I could sell my current soundcard (E-Mu 1212m) but still I would need about 1000$¨.
A guy in another forum recommended me the "SM PRO AUDIO M-PATCH" ( http://www.holmerup.biz/produktsidor/smproaudio/m-patch.html )... It's passive and therefore it doesn't affect the soundquality. And off course I can adjust the volume and mute etc. What do you guys think about this one? Will this one satisfy my needs? Maybe some of you have own experience with it? If you have an opinion then please shout it out |

Interesting little device. I have never seen that one before. It looks like it should do the job of what you want it to do.
From their product description it shouldn't affect the sound quality of your speakers but you can never tell until you actually get it home and try it out.
