I was wondering what most Scandinavians think about Orion's music, and live sets?

I like him a lot, and its not because I spent the first 5 years of my life in Denmark...

I dont see his name come up so much when Scandanavians talk about trance, but I know that people all over like him alot... for example there was a thread about favorite Scandanavian artists and no body mentionbed his name... so I was wondering what people in your area think about him...           www.facebook.com/DjJanux

He plays a lot in Denmark, both as live-act and DJ.

I think he's talented, but frankly so boring. It's very discrete full-on in my ears - you have to pay attention to the details, or you're gonna fall a sleep. Just my humble opinion.

I liked the first orion album the most - The newer stuff doesnt move me as much...

Most tracks I find boring, not all though. Theres a track or two of newer date that I do enjoy.

Regarding DJing he has quite a good reputation, but Ive never had the pleasure of hearing him.

'Viva Bahamas' is a nice orion track.

its true that some of his music starts to sound the same, but when i heard him play a DJ set he was really really good.           www.facebook.com/DjJanux

here in india, the orion stuff makes a nice morning           Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds.
If you cant convince them, c-o-n-f-u-s-e them !!

Detox & Svenne

I always hope for the best from any artist - Good music, we can never have enough of that.

But since we cant hear this new music at all, the only thing that I can relate to is "Ive heard that before"...

Not to be pessimistic or anything... but we will see when it gets released:-)

Smiling Regards

Hi J.e.h.a.n it's funny you should mention this as I've often wondered about this too. Orion and Koxbox are the two most wellknown and respected Danish names if you go to other countries but in Denmark they don't have the same kind of fame. I've never understood why as I don't share the same opinion as the other Danish guys write in here. Maybe some of it has to do with that they are already from Denmark and therefor not as exciting as an artist from the other side of the World but I don't know??

To Michael

Oh I love Kox Box - One of the old time danish acts who started out truely psychedelic and have been able to develop their sound over time.
I still like to go back and listen to forever after

Orion I just find boring, for the most part - but there are exceptions. I was absolutely in loooove with his first album...

About geografi, I couldnt care less where the music is from, if its only good music

Regards
