Hello,

did not found exactly what i'm looking for in the search so,

can any of you suggest me the best brand for motherboard he knows for music making for 64bit amd cpu's- other then gigabyte, asus etc.

i heard some names in the past but i don't remember them now, if you can specify where to get this motherboards in israel that would be great-

and, any of you runing the 64bit version of windows xp? with 64bit amd cpu, how does it works and does it boost the system performance dramatically comparing to 32bit systems-

thank you for the information,

dfi lanparty motherboard got some really good reviews all over. if you are in doubt, try some hardware related sites like tomshardware.com or anandtech.com. personally, i would never choose asus. msi works pretty fine for me (athlon64 socket754). asus was good before, but recently they started selling unfinished products.

boost will not be significant unless you have all your software in 64bit versions - which you won't for quite some time. and i don't really think people here use those windows because of the lack of drivers.           http://myspace.com/voxproject
