question about logic 7

hello there im new user in macintosh system .. so i have purchased some plugins to use in macintosh .. that i whant to use in logic .. but were i need to install the plugins .. somebody told me that .. the plugin would be instaled in the main vst folder that is in disk/libraries/audio/plugins/vst
but each time i open logic .. does plugins are not there :|
anyone can help me about this issue ?

Your friend is right about the destination of the vst's...
Now what u have 2 do is use FXpansion on the vst's...
The converted (AU's) will be placed in the folder Components.
If u already have AU's place them there...
Remember that after converting, the vst's have 2 stay in the vst folder, because the converted vst's (to AU )are a refference to the AudioUnits in the components folder..

haaaaaa ... ive done this yesterday before gettting answers .. ive finded for myself , but ive converted them all .. the AU when to the ROOT /lib/audioplugins /components , but i have deleted the vst that i hve converted .. that were in the vst folder ... and after that .. when i tryied to start logic .. all the AU failed :|
is because ive deletes de VST in the VST folder ??

Yeah, the au's from the vst's are still linked 2 them...
So U still need the vst's... |

If i was U, i'd go back to version 6.4.3
No problems there...
There are still a lot of bugs in 7...
And a lot off plugs still won't pass the test..
I bought my version of 7 last week  ).
But i asked if i could get a 6 cd with it, which i got !!!
Read the Sonikmatter forum, and u'll know why !!!
I won't install 7 untill all the 'bug' reports are over...
Maybe after the first update !!!

i'm not sure it's a bug
you will have to wait untill all plugins are updated to work with Logic 7 engine.

I'm not saying this is a bug, but what i do know. is that Logic 7 is not as stable as 6...
Read the nummerous threads in Sonikmatter !!!
The plug-in thing has something 2 do with validation of some plugs...and is a thing for the plug-in manufacturers.., |

yes i know .. about htis issue ..logic has not bugs .. logic have many features that lots of persons would might dont understand them .. or things changed . the only thing that sucks .. is the time that the enterprizes take to make the AU form the things i was used to work with 
that suck .. and how i can get the logic cd 6 for free ... since ive bought the 7pro about 2 weeks ?

If U have bought 7, you have all the rights to a previous version !
Check your: System Preferences>XS Key
If you want the previous version, and U ask Emagic/Apple...
I think they will be so kind to you, and send U that...
Or let U download it...
