question about labels in japan

Hi,
i was wondering why vision quest and arcadia releases are really hard to find out of japan. Solstice is distributed in europe and everywhere else in the world so why don't they do the same. They seem to have top quality stuff but it's so hard to find. Kind of sad.
Anybody knows why ? |

simple reason. they sell enough copies in Japan and intl distribution costs. also this is a part of promotion for their parties in Japan -period-
there should be the web shop you can order from abroad.

This can be very long.
First as Digital Syndicate has said it is part of their promotion.
Distributions in Japan can sell at least 1000 copies in japan, but in order for them to do this they must be the first ones to distrubite the cd in Japan. So even before the psyshop etc... the cd must be sold in japan. Then given a certain amount of time, they will be put on psyshop etc..
About Solstice, they have teamed up with a organization in France and the team in France handles their world wide distribution. Other organziations do not have a world wide disributor. But Visionquest has teamed up with Phonokol so i think you will be seeing their cds soon. Arcadia will be hard to find. I think....
Psyside CD hopefully by Mid September we can get it out to the world! |

thanks a lot for the info ... So i guess it will be distributed worldwide by BNE like hommega.
I see that the price on tranceshop is also the same then other labels. I guess it will get printed in Israel because all japaneese printed cd's are out of price.
Anybody knows if Arcadia is also planning to team up with somebody outside of Japan. If I was them I would team up with 3D Vision. |
