Hello there,

Well, I wanted 2 know if like in other fields- Labels, send/give their artists courses and educating them on the lables expence...?

Like for example... I don't know... just at the top of my head...
If - just for example - I create great music but I still need to learn stuff - is there a label that will consider sending me to a course on their expance...?

hmm, I never heard about labels doing such stuff...but you can be almost 100% sure that its defenately not the case with psytrance labels           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

"Have you ever had that feeling where you're not sure if you're awake or still dreaming?"
"Hmm, yeah... All the time, man - it's called mescaline. The only way to fly!"

a course?
I think working with experienced producers would be of much help than a course, plus it's free!
That's what a good label can help you with - getting you in contact with other experienced producers...           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

define label..

if you talk about small "realese my friends" kind of label then forget it , no budget for nothing serious.

big label will not buy you equipment or pay your school as well..
but once you have the skills they can help you to finalize songs in their studio and get you gigs in many places which is what you need in order to make something out of it.

so they (major labels that are effective) can push you but they will not go for ametures they want final result perfect before its possible to work with them..

and in many cases unless you "in da gang" you have no chanse anyway to get in there..

so you have to work on your "scene contact list" as hard on your music.          www.sattelbattle.com

nice ideia,,

also i always think about a label for amateur psy trance
suport for strange, weird productions, non professionals, no rules, just that rebel youth smell
maybe some courses to best ones,
$10 and a chillum for support

well as for big labels i dont know this for a fact but ive heard projects with a unique sound that isnt very polished get picked up by a big label and then pow ultra clean and it kinda sounds like the other artists on the label like hommega and uh .... i cant remember the label with eskimo and dynamic etc. but ya i feel like i saw that happen there. so i think like metioned above not a formal education but im sure once you have an in you get schooled by the rest of the gang and then its up to you if you want to conform or take that knowledge and do something different.

Actually it would be great if that would be possible.

But for that there are far to few CDs sold in the PsyTrance genre. Most prints are between 1000 and 2000 pieces. Thats nothing.
Its hard to survive anyway, but to pay courses for artists is absolutely impossible.

If we had the money and an artist would creatively be so promising, we would do.. but until Trancers start to spend serious money for CDs instead of downloading, Artists will have to use this forum and our forum. If they are from around they can come and visit us and get some tipps or we will organize some rendevouz with more experienced artists in our studio. More we can't do.
