Hello I hope some one here can clear my mind

I know how to calculate which frequensies and how much they will be aborbed with different materials and constructions.

BUT one thing I dont understand is:
when you calculate you dont have any reference amplitude included in the calculation.. The absorption have to be different in different volumes or what???

I hope you understood what i just wrote my english is bad:)

all absorption rates must be calculated from a single standard amplitude level ....
