I know there are a lot of topics about this subject
But i just wanted to ask a small question.

Im reading all about people cutting below 35 and above 20k etc.
But i wonder, what do most mastering engineers do?
If i dont cut anything at all, i leave the choice to the engineer that for sure has better monitors than me.
And also, if big soundsytems cut at 37.5 hz why should i cut it
Cutting 2 times is not gonna cut it better right?

Help me out here please:)

cutting above 20k is usless, mybe you meant cutting above 18k-19k..

any way about your Question: really low frequeicies are harder to produce for amplifier and taking energy from the track. cutting below 25hz-30hz wil shift the evergy of your track higher.
master engineer will do that if you have too much in your mix.
