working on this track. It begins with a kind of funky bass then it gets proggy then something will come. Hope you enjoy the trip =)
Any feedback on any aspect is appreciated!!

peace!

I have the same feedback for this track than for any other of your tracks I have listened to on here. I really like the ideas and where you are going, and they are very enjoyable to listen to, but your tracks tend to sound very thin and far away and thus "un-pro", for lack of a better word.

However, I am not a real expert who could specifically tell you do this or do that, I lack the necessary analytic listening skills and experience, but I can tell you this: Make it fatter and warmer!!! I know this information is probably utterly useless, but the bottom end needs to get much more presence in your mix, it feels like you EQ`d out too many low frequencies. And there is something wrong with the reverb on the percusion in this track, I guess its just too much, that makes it sound very hollow.

That being said, I like the old-school atmosphere here, especially before the off-beat starts, and the overall relaxed vibe. I guess once you get the mix right, the rest will follow automatically.

Hey man, thanks you for listening and the analytical insight! It's really appreciated.

I guess my attempts to "layer" a bass have been unsuccessful, tis true that it lacks that driving power we all love so much =) After reading your comment I've gotten my hands on some useful information regarding bass layering and EQ and already bearing some positives results...reading all the threads i can find on bass and low freqs. A lot of useful information on pas threads ^^ Did you enjoy the vocals?

thanks again! I'll repost this when it's worthy being heard hehehe
